About Dr. D

I’m Kristin Davin, Psy.D., a psychologist, author, and relationship expert with more than two decades of experience helping people better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that can keep them feeling stuck.

Throughout my work, I’ve seen how often people struggle with patterns such as codependency, people-pleasing, overfunctioning, difficulty setting boundaries, parentification, and losing themselves in relationships. I’ve also seen how powerful it can be when people begin to understand where these patterns come from—and develop practical tools to change them.

I created Reflections From Across the Couch to bring that work beyond the therapy room. My guided workbooks, journals, and educational resources combine psychological insight with structured reflection and practical exercises designed to help you build greater self-awareness, strengthen self-trust, create healthier relationships, and live more intentionally.

My approach is practical, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens not simply by understanding our patterns, but by learning how to respond to them differently.

Heal. Grow. Thrive.

It’s about learning how to show up for yourself differently

Unlike generic journals or worksheets, these resources combine reflection with structure—helping you move beyond awareness and actually begin creating meaningful change.

Whether you’re learning to set healthier boundaries, reconnect with yourself, or stop repeating exhausting relationship patterns, these tools are designed to support real personal growth at your own pace.
